One of the most highly anticipated films of the year for horror fans is Shelby Oaks. The paranormal indie horror film, starring Sarah Durn and Keith David, is directed by Chris Stuckmann in his feature film debut. Stuckmann has established himself as one of the most popular and prolific YouTube movie critics in the film world. Fans have anxiously awaited news on the project, and after its debut at Fantasia Fest, followers have been clamoring for updates. Additionally, the project is produced by horror legend Mike Flanagan, which only adds to everyone’s excitement.
However, Neon has a massive slate of horror films planned this year, so it was no surprise when Shelby Oaks‘ first full trailer played before their most marketed film of the year, Together. The trailer promises filmgoers a terrifying premise and mystery, involving a woman’s investigation into her Sister’s (a paranormal investigator) disappearance. The preview remains vague, but promises plenty of paranormal terror, eerie, grey color palates, an ominous, abandoned town, and an overall, supernatural mind-trip.
Check out Together in theaters, and be sure to show up early for the trailer premiere of Shelby Oaks.
