The Horror Press Podcast Ep 51: Frankenstein & Stranger Things

In Episode 51 of The Horror Press Podcast, Brendan, Eli (Bad Critic), and James Michael talk about what they’ve been watching, what they are working on, and horror movie news.

Leave a comment on Apple or Spotify, and Brendan has promised to get a special tattoo.

Brooklyn Horror Fest Adventures and Buffet Infinity Madness

James Michael and Brendan talk about all their adventures at Brooklyn Horror Fest, and all the madness that came with watching Buffet Infinity. Brendan heaps high praise on The Creep Tapes Season 2, as well as the Hell House LLC franchise.

Bad Critic celebrates Dick Cheney’s death while walking through all the horror movies she watched throughout the Halloween season (lots of Cronenberg, and a Lars von Trier movie). She also saw Ms.45, and the boys spilled some tea about the newly released 4K UHD.

Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer (and Endless Sidetracks)

They all try to talk about the Stranger Things Season 5 trailer, but keep getting sidetracked. They also get sidetracked when they learn that Pan’s Labyrinth is getting a 20th anniversary theatrical release next year, because Eli starts talking about Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein. James Micheal mentions that there is a Mummy 4 in the works, with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz attached, and somehow they end up talking about Tom Cruise’s potential BBL instead. Ti West is making a “dark” version of A Christmas Carol with Ian McKellan and Johnny Depp (we are not excited about it), and Robert Englund is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (good for him!).
