I find myself here today, six months after our official launch, looking back at over 120 articles and 3,200+ followers on Twitter, in shock. I never imagined we would grow so quickly. It’s amazing to think that we have fans that look forward to what we have to say about horror!
I knew when I started this project that it would be tough. I had zero experience with web design, media, or writing. But my main objective was to find underrepresented voices in the horror community, provide a safe space for them to share their perspectives, and most importantly, pay them for it. Of course, this is still a work in progress, and my email is always open for resumes!
Needless to say, Pride Month is a huge deal for us at Horror Press; we stand with and support our LGBTQIA2S+ family and celebrate them. Horror is queer, after all. That is a hill I will die on.
So, as you may be aware, the 11th of the Month is an auspicious time for us, even more so now that it’s Pride! So for June, we’ll be doing a very special Pride-themed giveaway!
