Mo Moshaty is a journalist, lecturer, writer and producer in the horror genre. As EIC of NightTide Magazine, her mission is always to elevate and celebrate historically marginalized creatives and communities that seem to be kept to the fringes of the horror industry. NightTide spotlights creatives and writers of color, LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent creatives and those challenging ageism in the genre. Her debut novella, Love the Sinner, was released in 2024, and her upcoming collection, Clairviolence: Tales of Tarot and Torment, will be published through Tenebrous Press in 2025. Mo lectures internationally on women’s trauma in horror cinema, exploring its societal reflections and its transformative power within the genre. She also hosts the podcast From Inside the House, which delves into the intersection of horror, trauma, and representation.
Through her work, Mo seeks to reshape the horror landscape by fostering inclusivity, breaking barriers, and celebrating underrepresented perspectives, ensuring that every voice has its place in the genre's ever-evolving narrative.
